Your wallet signs every launch. SPAWN never holds your keys.

Launching a token on SPAWN is one Solana transaction that you approve in your own wallet. This page walks through exactly what that transaction does, what SPAWN can and cannot do, and how to check all of it yourself.

How to launch a token· 44 seconds, no sound

SPAWN is non-custodial

Your seed phrase and private keys stay in your wallet app. SPAWN never sees them, never asks for them and has nowhere to store them. Every launch, buy, sell and swap is a transaction your wallet shows you first and sends only if you approve.

SPAWN cannot

  • See or store your seed phrase or private key
  • Move SOL or tokens out of your wallet
  • Sign a transaction on your behalf
  • Mint more of your token, freeze holders or rename it

SPAWN does

  • Prepare the transaction for your wallet to review
  • Check the confirmed launch on Solana before listing it
  • Keep your account email and your project page content
  • Collect its fees inside transactions you approve

A launch, step by step

Each step is tagged with where it happens. Only one of them needs your wallet, and none of them happens in a wallet SPAWN controls.

  1. 1
    In your browser

    You describe the token

    Name, ticker, image, an optional description and links. Nothing touches Solana yet, and you can change anything.

  2. 2
    In your browser

    SPAWN prepares one transaction

    The page builds a single transaction and tests it against Solana before your wallet opens. If the test fails, nothing is sent and nothing is charged. The transaction:

    • creates the token with a fixed supply of 1,000,000,000;
    • removes the ability to mint more or freeze holders, and locks the name, ticker and metadata link;
    • opens a Meteora bonding-curve pool holding the whole supply;
    • waives the SPAWN platform launch fee during the current offer;
    • optionally buys up to 5% of the supply for you, in the same transaction, before anyone else can.
  3. 3
    In your wallet

    You approve it

    Your wallet shows the transaction and its cost. Approve it and your wallet signs it with your key, which never leaves the wallet. Reject it and nothing happens. A Solana transaction is only valid for under a minute, so approve promptly.

  4. 4
    On Solana

    Solana creates the token and the pool

    The network runs the transaction as a whole: either every part succeeds or none does. The token and its pool are created by Meteora's public bonding-curve program, not by code SPAWN wrote or can change.

  5. 5
    On SPAWN

    SPAWN verifies it, then lists it

    SPAWN reads the confirmed transaction back from Solana and checks it before the token appears on the site: the token and pool exist, the standard SPAWN settings were used, the fee was paid, and the creator's first buy is within the 5% limit. A launch that fails these checks is not listed.

  6. 6
    On Solana

    People trade on the curve

    Buyers and sellers trade against the pool at a flat 1.2% fee, and the price rises as SOL comes in. A token starts at a market cap of 30 SOL. When about 86 SOL has been bought through the pool, the token graduates to a standard Meteora pool and its liquidity is locked permanently, so nobody, including the creator and SPAWN, can withdraw it.

What your wallet pays at launch

Launch fee0 SOL during SPAWN Launch Week
Account rentA small amount of SOL that Solana requires to store the new token and pool
Network feeA fraction of a cent, paid to Solana validators
Your first buyOptional. Whatever you choose, up to 5% of supply

Your wallet shows the exact total before you approve. Current figures are on the fees page.

About the token's address

Every Solana token has its own address, separate from your wallet. Many SPAWN tokens get one ending in "spwn", which SPAWN prepares in advance. The key behind that address is used exactly once, to sign the token into existence, and is erased afterwards. It is not a wallet key: because the token is created with no mint or freeze authority and locked metadata, that key can do nothing once the launch is complete.

Check it yourself

Nothing here needs to be taken on trust. Every launch is public on Solana.

  • Any token: open it on Solscan

    Supply should read 1,000,000,000, with mint authority and freeze authority both empty. For example, $SPAWN on Solscan .

  • The program that creates tokens and pools

  • The settings every SPAWN launch uses

    Fee, curve shape and liquidity lock are fixed in this account: EpgFC1cSH1EpD6VR3XHN2s8xZE1LoEnjC8SRiUSQG2WE

  • Your own launch

    Each token page links its launch transaction, creator wallet and pool address, and shows how much the creator bought at launch.

If anyone asks for your seed phrase, it is not SPAWN

SPAWN admins and the Telegram bot never message you first and never ask for a seed phrase, a private key or a "wallet verification". Only use spawnmeme.com, and read what your wallet shows before you approve. Token prices can fall to zero; launching or buying a token is your own decision.
